Weekly Wrap-up

During the last few weeks, we have been working on a few research projects. One of them we finished this week. The girls have become EXCELLENT note takers and I've seen so much improvement with paraphrasing non-fiction resources. After researching, the girls shared all they learned by writing a report in first-person point of view. These girls are unbelievably creative! They drew a picture of their animal to create a chatter-pix. Check them out below!

Update

What a week! We rehearsed, rehearsed, and rehearsed some more. It is coming together and looking fabulous! I know the girls are very excited to show off their hard work next week. The parent performance is Wednesday at 9:30 in Endeavor Hall. Thank you to the parents who are helping with make-up, costumes and props!

Our final Lower School Service Project runs from May 5-15 to support CARITAS as they help homeless families get set up in homes. We will help to provide basic cleaning supplies as they set up a new home. 4th grade should bring in a broom and dustpan. Thank you!

It was a perfect day to picnic with our big sis partners! I loved hearing all the 5th grade advice from the 8th graders.
