Weekly Update

On Monday the girls had fun showing off their amazing presidential portraits and a few facts about their president. It will take some time for me to get it all checked and graded, but they will come home afterwards. In the meantime, here are some pictures of the girls with their portraits! Up next, regions of the U.S. and states!

Our geometry unit wrapped up this week with lines of symmetry and symmetrical shapes. Next week we will review which includes completing a fun shape project and then I will assess the girls afterwards. A quick reminder that while most of the girls are completing their written work at school, they should be drilling multiplication/division math facts at home and reading every night! It's a bonus if your daughter is able to read out loud to you or someone else. Now that the girls are independent readers, we often forget they still need to work on fluency and expression while reading.

Along with their Friday Folders, I also sent home their math journals to look through their awesome work with you!
